And while we focus on a number of things that help our residents enjoy life to the fullest, one thing that seniors (and their families) sometimes overlook is maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Pursuing a healthy lifestyle shouldn’t stop just because you retire.
Arriving at the decision to move into a retirement community is a significant milestone for seniors—and their adult children. But it’s not the last decision you’ll have to make. Residents who move into our community (and their children) tell us that one of the toughest things they face is moving from a house full of memories (and things) into a new home that’s a fraction of the size. How do you decide what comes and what doesn’t?
