Autumn is one of my favorite seasons. Summer is over and fall routines have settled into place. There are no major holidays on the calendar, but there is plenty to appreciate, from abundant produce in the Farmers’ Market to spectacular tree-lined streets ablaze in red, yellow and orange. In some ways, October is the calm before the storm….of holiday expectations. As with so many things, when it comes to holiday stress and/or depression, the best cure is prevention. Once you are already stressed out, trying to regroup and recalibrate can be hard.
