Get more exercise, floss, take medications as scheduled, call Mom every day. Even if we have foresworn New Year’s Resolutions as a losing proposition, most of us have one or two things in our life that we’d like to do differently.
For many of us the holidays are a mixed bag, emotionally speaking. For as much as we rejoice with the friends and family who are both near and dear, the holidays also cause us to remember loved ones who are no longer with us. For those who have suffered a recent loss, the pain can be particularly intense.
