The aquarium is handicap accessible and also has wheelchair rentals available.

Visit Nature:

The Volunteer Park Conservatory has 10,400 square feet of greenhouse featuring thousands of plants including tropical and subtropical collections. The parking and conservatory is wheelchair accessible, and remember it's a greenhouse so dress for a warm and humid climate!

Shopping:

Seattle has hundreds of stores to browse, and many malls. Spend a day at Pike Place Market or Uwajimaya in Seattle’s International District and you can shop or browse for hours without getting wet!

Food:

From the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room to Theo Chocolate, there are thousands of options when you want to go out for a meal on a rainy day. If you want to make an evening of it check out Teatro Zinzanni for an excellent dinner and a show combination.

Theater:

There are all kinds of theaters in town, so grab a listing and find a show you'll enjoy. Paramount Theatre, the 5th Avenue, and ACT Theater are just a few examples of the excellent theaters in town.

Sports:

If you're a sports fan check out the schedule for the Seahawks, Storm, Thunderbirds, or other area teams such as the Rat City Rollergirls or Sounders. Key Arena also has a wide range of other entertainment scheduling, so check out what's happening when the rain starts to fall!
